Ahhhhh Lee...I'm jealous!!!
CDK....we had some banties last year but they flew the coop over to the neighbors and we told him he could keep them. He really likes the banties. We have a few silkies, barred rocks, Rhode Island reds and some buffs (I can't remember what they are, but Terry knows). We also have a couple of White Chinese geese and a gray Toulouse. Oh yeah, and we have 4 guinea chicks. We have not found any eggs from them yet.
Our neighbors have a couple of peacocks and some ducks that come over and visit every once in a while, also.
Yep, it's a little noisy around here at times. LOL

We had a very 'filling' 3 days! They should invent stomach pumps for the Thanksgiving weekend! Then you could eat, pump, eat again, pump...this would work!! I hate that over fill feeling. Of course, that didn't keep me from over filling! LOL
We had a small group at our house this year for Thanksgiving and then Friday and Saturday we were selling our candles at Shaver Lake. It's always a fun show. There are really nice people there!
Thanks for the turkey enchilada idea Kathy!! That's an awesome idea.

We really want to come to this, but are waiting to see how finances are. Work is slow and so are candle sales. Stupid recession!!!!! Hopefully you won't be full by January and we can make an informed decision. :)

Gosh KK, I didn't know you were close enough to hear the gobble gobble! We've told him to quiet down, but he doesn't listen! He's just thrilled he won't be joining us on the dining table!!!! LOL

We're staying home and cooking for my dad and some of my family will also join us. We always have more than enough food, so if anyone wants to come join us, come on up! On Friday and Saturday we will be selling candles at a craft fair at Shaver Lake. It's a great time to visit Shaver as they have lots of Christmas stuff going on.

Just so you know...Your Queen is always lurking, fear not! I miss nothing and keep a very extensive notebook on all actions and activities. So come March I will be checking it twice and informing the King of all infractions so he can make an educated decision on the Fool's King. (I'd leave it entirely up to him, but we all know he's not always in his right mind....or his left either...what with that BIG ol' bottle he will be absorbing between now and then!)

It is with a sad heart I must say another one bites the dust.
My truck went into the hospital with a diesel leak and no back brakes. Not related just a bad coincidence ,I hope.
Anyway it looks like Sat. before I get it back.
Ya ll have a great time. I will greatly miss Ellie's costume and Lacey's cookies.
And I sure wish I could be there when Jerry shows off his chicken costume:B

Ummmm...does anyone like cookies that are a little on the black side? I forgot to set the timer for one batch without nuts and well...it's a tad dark. LOL That makes the non-nut batch a little slim, so I hope we have more nut eaters than non-nut eaters. That's WALnuts...geez! :P

By the way....we have an abundance of home grown eggs and we'd be happy to bring some along for anyone who wants some. These are free range chickens who lay out on the ground, so the shells aren't always spotless, but if you are ok with that, just let us know and we'll bring along a couple of extra dozen. Ok..back to baking....baking....

Oh gosh Vince, now I'm hungry! Are we going to have a 'sample' night on Thursday just to make sure those bourbon balls and brisket are good??? :)
I'll be baking cookies all day Wednesday so all you cookie monsters can get your Tollhouse fix! With and without nuts, right?
We don't have a recipe for tequila but hope to bring a sample of something. Are we having the horse d' orves when we have the tequila tasting? We have something tasty planned for that night, but it won't be made out of tequila.
I hope we haven't forgotten anything. See you all Thursday. :)

We have been having power outages here off and on for a few days now. I was just ready to post a belated Happy Birthday wish to Nickster when it shut down once again, so I'll try again today. Ellie and Vince, give Nicky an extra hug from us and wish him a very happy late birthday!
DOUG! Awesome to see you here (even though you really started something! LOL) MM won't be the same without y'all. I'll miss seeing Candy in one of her costumes. :)
